Biomedical Photographic Communications

The program’s facilities are a source of pride. Not only do Biomed students have access to the school's facilities and studios, but the program also has specialized labs just for the students in the major.

The Biomed Lab is set up to accommodate all of the specific equipment and space needs unique to our program. Cameras, from a variety of manufacturers, allow our students to become proficient on all makes and models. Many of these cameras are rare and one of a kind.
The school's photographic check-out library, affectionately known as the "cage", supplies all photo students with any and all equipment they may need while here at RIT. On 24-loan, this collection is maintained and updated constantly to provide the latest and greatest in photographic equipment and technology.
